Here at Orion Group, we not only pride ourselves on great web designs and solidly coded development. We like to give back to the community that supports us. That is why we encourage our employees to regularly attend local Meetup groups and conferences. Our staff has even been responsible for organizing various tech meetups and putting on the 2012 and 2013 WordCamp Milwaukee, a weekend long learning-fest focusing all on WordPress.
We like to be known as the leaders in the Milwaukee WordPress development community, which is why we make sure we stay at the forefront of all that is WordPress. WordPress has been an invaluable tool and we feel we should give back to the cause. Just this week, I participated in the weekly WordPress podcast, WPWatercooler. We discussed providing WordPress support and the tools and techniques we use. I learned a lot by participating and I hope others learn by watching. Support is an important part of our job and although we have great tools in place to manage our support requests we are always looking to improve.
