How many times per day should you tweet?

How Often Should I Tweet?I often get asked by clients about social media and how much they should be using it. Specifically though, regarding Twitter, how many tweets-per-day you should be doing is subjective to how many other users your followers are following. If they are not following many people, your tweet interval will appear to be frequent. If they have many people in their following list, your tweeting might feel slow.

In general, you could probably get away with tweeting 3-5 times a day for starters.

Bill’s Double Knee Replacement

Thanks for your patience as Bill has been unable to reply to emails or phone calls due to recovering from surgery. It’s been slower progress than hoped for, but he’s almost at 100% mobility again.

Newer, Faster Website Hosting

We’ve been moving website from our old Red Anvil web server to our new Cartika server. It’s such a large project that we’ve hired a contractor, Jon, to work non-stop on it for the next 6 months. If your website is hosted with us, you will be hearing from Jon.

There are rumors that AWS (Amazon Web Service) is having technical issues at the moment. Can anyone confirm this? Post a reply at the bottom of this page.

Update:

We heard back from Jeanne McRedmond, Director of Customer Support at Raven Tools, who says, “I can confirm that, yes, it was an AWS issue” but that at this point they can still only speculate as to what caused the issue. Read the rest of this entry »

 

Milwaukee Mozcation by SEO Software Company SEOmoz Coming in October 2012

According to SEO software company, SEOmoz, a Mozcation is planned in Milwaukee for October 2012 at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Tickets are free and can be registered from this site.

So far, in attendance there will be over 70 companies represented from around the Milwaukee area and the USA. That’s 139 people who have registered so far!

The biggest representation so far comes from these fine companies:

 
Of course, a big thanks goes out to Kyle Faber of Regal Creative for putting together the MilwaukeeMozcation.com website and nomination in the first place!  And, Orion Group is proud to have been in on the ground level of this great event by helping spread the word and get local companies and individuals to vote and continue spreading the word in an effort that SEOmoz would pick Milwaukee as one of their destinations for Mozcation 2012 in USA.
